LBVC BEACH VOLLEYBALL CAMPS 2017
London Beach Volleyball Club are proud to present a beach volleyball camp in Kalamata, Greece from Thursday Sept 7th to Thursday 14th Sept.
The camp will be limited to 24 participants who will be divided into 4 groups of 6 players. The groups will be adjusted, if required, following assessment by the coaching team on the first day.
We are also offering the option to self organise a group of 6 players. If you have 5 other players with whom you would like to train with, this can be requested when completing the online registration form. All 6 players must register and complete payment in full by the 27th August 2017.
The cost of camp is €300 per person and this needs to be paid directly to the Kalamata BV Team. You will need to arrange your own accommodation and flights. To join the camp, please complete the registration form
The camp will take place at the Kalamata Beach Volleyball facilities in the beautiful city of Kalamata at Messinia, one of the most beautiful cities in the Peloponnese.
The Kalamata Beach Volleyball facility consists of two beach volleyball courts built to Olympic standards using a white quartz sand. The sand is clean, white and free of stones. There is a beach bar at the courts which sells drinks and light meals. Attendees of the camp will be entitled to a discount at the bar throughout the camp.
Only EasyJet and British Airways offer direct flights from London to Kalamata. While the EasyJet flights seem cheaper, there are usually a lot of additional costs (early morning transport to the airport, check in baggage etc). Our research found that British Airways offered the best value for money in terms of flight times where public transport can be used to reach the airport, and is all inclusive in the flight prices.
We have therefore opted to run the camps from Thursday to Thursday to match the British Airways flight scheduled from London Heathrow to Kalamata. We highly recommend that you book your flights as soon as possible as the cost of flights can become expensive due to the limited number of direct flights. There will be a free airport pick up and drop off in Kalamata.
